1973 Volkswagen Thing (181)This is a very nice little Volkswagen I purchased for my girlfriend a few years back. I am now selling it due to having to many cars in my driveway. This is a clean well running VW that everything seems to work. (Lights, Signals, Brakes, Parking Brake, Interior Lights, Etc.) If there is something not working, it would be very minor. The motor only has 740 Miles on it since Professionally built. This runs extremely well. We drive this car on the weekends and have no problems other that lots of attention. The convertible top is virtually new from the thing shop. The front seats are newly upholstered and the rear will come with to covers to install if needed. The windows are complete, however need full restoration. They are still usable, but definitely need to be sent to the "Thing Shop" for swap restoration. This is not a show piece or a perfect car, but this is a very nice clean vehicle to go live some childhood memories in. The vehicle is located in Concord, NC. The plates are still Oregon due to us having 4 year plates there. The car also comes with a fully restored Hurst shifter. Thank you and good luck on the bidding.
